Warning: the following access does not work on a tablet or a phone. When playing on tablet or phone, you must use the Google Play Store or App Store versions of the game.
It therefore concerns people who wish to play in a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on a desktop computer or a laptop, either with an existing Mini DiverCity account on iOS or Android or a new account.
To access it, you can purchase a WebGL access at a cost of $12.99 (Canadian) + tax if applicable. This one-time purchase provides an indefinite access (as long as the game lives) to Mini DiverCity on the web for one (1) account. The web game is available in two resolutions: 1280 x 740 pixels as well as 960 x 620 pixels. It replicates the look of the mobile game and you can interact with players that are on mobile.
The WebGL access is given by default to the account associated with the e-mail that made the payment:
- If the payment email corresponds to an existing Mini DiverCity account on iOS or Android (which has this email correctly registered in the Profile), this account will be granted the right of WebGL access. You can therefore alternate between playing on your phone in the Android version for example, and playing on your computer via the Web with the same Mini DiverCity account.
- If there is no Mini DiverCity account on iOS or Android that has the payment email registered in its Profile, we will create a new account for you which will have the WebGL access.
If you want to give the access to a friend or to an e-mail not associated with the payment e-mail, write us at app@minidivercity.com.
Once an account is connected via WebGL access, it obtains during this access all the paid advantages found on iOS and Android:
- VIP: no video ads + 200 bonus points after each game without the need to watch an ad + see hidden stats from the Stats screen
- Access to all Divers
If you use a Mini DiverCity account with an active WebGL access to play the App Store or Play Store versions on your phone, then strictly the paid benefits you have on those platforms that are tied to your Google or Apple ID will apply. In other words, you will not have the paid WebGL advantages. Example: you have an account and bought the Divers Pack on iOS. This pack is linked to your Apple ID. So when you play with your account...
- on a device logged on to iOS with your Apple ID: the Divers pack will be active but not the VIP (you will get ads)
- on WebGL: you will have all Divers and the VIP
- on a device logged on to another Apple ID (which doesn't hold the purchase or an Android phone): no advantage will be active
Also be advised that it is not possible to connect the same Mini DiverCity account at the same time in two different places.
You will receive a payment confirmation from Paypal, followed by another e-mail from us as to how to access the game on the Web maximum 24 hours after payment, except during the Summer holidays where it can take up to 7 days.
